WCHS Concurrent Credit Opportunities with George Fox University and Northwest Nazarene University
At Westside Christian High School (WCHS), we are committed to providing our students with exceptional educational opportunities that prepare them for future academic and career success. One of the ways we achieve this is through our valuable partnerships with George Fox University and Northwest Nazarene University, which allow our students to earn college credit while still in high school. For $75 per college credit hour, students may realistically complete over a full year’s worth of college credit by the time they graduate from Westside.

Eligible 2024–2025 Courses through George Fox University (semester system):
- AP Literature & Composition generates credit in LITR 100: Intro to Literature (3 credits)
- AP Language & Composition generates credit in WRIT110: College Writing (3 credits)
- AP Calculus AB generates credit in MATH 190: Precalculas Mathematics (4 credits)
- AP World History generates credit in Math 201: Calculus (4 credits)
- AP European History generates credit in HIST 110: World Civilization to 1648 (3 credits)
- AP US History generates credit in HIST 100: World History (3 credits)
- Government generates credit in PSCI 190: American Government (3 credits)
- Economics
- Anatomy & Physiology generates credit in BIOL 150: Intro to Anatomy and Physiology (4 credits)
- AP Biology generates credit in BIOL 100: Foundations of Biology (4 credits)
- AP Chemistry generates credit in CHEM 120: Foundations in Chemistry (4 credits)
- AP Physics generates credit in PHYS 150: Physics and Everyday Life (4 credits)
- AP 2-D Art & Design generates credit in ARTS 101: Basic Design 2-D (3 credits)
- AP 3-D Art & Design generates credit in ARTS 102: Basic Design 3-D (3 credits)
- AP Drawing generates credit in ARTS 111: Drawing (3 credits)
Eligible 2024–2025 Courses through Northwest Nazarene University (semester system):
- Spanish 4 generates credit in SPAN 2015 & 2025 Intermediate Spanish (4 credits for each semester)
AP Art Courses:
Our AP 2-D Art & Design class is particularly noteworthy as it offers flexibility based on student interest. From this course, students can explore three different AP Art classes, allowing them to delve deeper into their artistic passions and earn concurrent college credit.
